Here at the Pine Crest we are always looking for ways to better serve our guests. For this reason we are now offering different specials and packages, depending on the season, that will allow you to plan your entire vacation by simply contacting only us! All you need to do is call and let us know you are interested in any one of the deals or packages listed below.
Deals
We are currently offering a 15% discount to all of our guests who have a valid 2008 Vermont fishing license.
In partnership with The Parson’s Corner Restaurant, in Barton, we are now offering food vouchers! With a two night stay you are entitled to a coupon for $2.50 off breakfast for two adults. With a minimum stay of three nights you will receive one coupon for $2.50 off breakfast for two adults and one coupon for $5.00 off lunch for two adults. With a stay of one week or more, the Pine Crest is happy to offer you a choice of any combination of four food vouchers. Parson’s Corner is a family owned restaurant in the heart of Barton. They serve the best breakfast and lunch in the village everyday of the week except Tuesdays!
Packages
The Pine Crest is happy to announce it’s partnership with the not for profit organization Siskin Ecological Adventures! The experienced naturalist staff of the Siskin team will guide you to some of the Kingdom’s most remarkable wild places, while sharing the exciting and ecologically important stories that are often overlooked.
We are currently offering three different guided tours through Siskin in a variety of packages, they are a guided canoeing tour down a last stretch of the Clyde River with its meandering channel, abundant wildlife, and numerous beaver ponds, a natural history hike through a wonderful riparian woodland in East Charleston conserved by the Vermont Land Trust, and a wild flower walk through a location that changes seasonally to best take advantage of changes in blooms. All of these tours start by the guide meeting you here at the Pine Crest and then leading you and your friends or family away for either a half-day or full-day tour. Simply choose from the package combinations below and call to make your reservation… it’s really that easy – we will take care of the rest!
The Siskin Ecological Adventure Weekend
This package begins with you and your party arriving at the Pine Crest on Friday afternoon or evening and checking into one or more (depending on party size) of our rustic cabins. Saturday morning one of Siskin’s experienced and knowledgeable guides will meet you right in front of your cabin and will lead you away on the guided tour of your choice, either the canoeing trip, natural history hike, or the wild flower walk… it is your choice! Return to the Pine Crest on Saturday afternoon to enjoy another night stay with us, then on Sunday morning wake up and enjoy breakfast at Parson’s Corner with a coupon for $2.50 off two adults before check out.
This package is not restricted to the weekends either! If you want to take advantage of this exciting package during the week just let us know and it can be easily arranged.

The Adventure Week
For an educational and action packed week of fun we have again teamed with the knowledgeable Siskin guides to offer the “Adventure Week” here at the Pine Crest. This week includes a six night stay in our rustic cabins, a guided canoeing trip down a last stretch of the Clyde River with its meandering channel, abundant wildlife, and numerous beaver ponds, a natural history hike through a wonderful riparian woodland in East Charleston conserved by the Vermont Land Trust, and a wildflower walk through a location that changes seasonally to best take advantage of changes in blooms. On the afternoon of your arrival you can settle into your cabin and spend the evening enjoying the relaxing roar of the Barton River while sitting by the fire. The next morning you and your party will be met in front of your cabin by one of the excellent Siskin guides who will lead you off on your first adventure of the week (the order in which you choose to do the three adventures is up to you). After another night stay in the cabins wake up and go down to the Parson’s Corner restaurant for Breakfast and use your coupon for $2.50 off breakfast for two adults. Take the rest of the day to relax by the pool or the Barton River as you will need your energy the following day when you go out on the second guided tour with Siskin Ecological Adventures. With two of three adventures under your belt take another day of relaxation to enjoy the many wonders of the Northeast Kingdom. Also, enjoy lunch at Parson’s Corner with a $5.00 off coupon for two adults. Be sure to eat enough as you will be led away again the following morning to complete the third of these outstanding ecological adventures offered by Siskin.
