We have ten cabins here at the Pine Crest that are set back on the property with the north running Barton River close by. We have five larger cabins that can accommodate four, and five smaller cabins that are good for a couple. These cabins are all open to drop-ins and reservation during the spring, summer, and fall season, they are all (except for the “Bear Cub cove”) dog friendly. In the winter only four of our large cabins are available to reservation with a minimum two night stay. All of our cabins have a coffe pot, cable TV, private bathroom and shower, propane heat and a charcoal grill as well as a picnic table outside.
The small cabins are one room not including the bathroom with a double bed and are wonderful for two people to relax after a day of enjoying the outdoor adventures to be had in the Northeast Kingdom. The small cabins are the “Racoon Retreat”, “Porcupine Palace”, “Hawk Haven”, “Trout Terrace” and “Boar’s Bunkie”.
The large cabins have slight variations but are essientially the same and can accommodate four people comfortably. The “Bear Cub Cove”, Deer Den”, and “Moose Manor” all have two bedrooms, one with two single beds and the other with a double bed. The “Grouse House” has the same two bedrooms as the others with the difference being this cabin has a double bed in both rooms. The “Lynx Lair” cabin is unique among the other cabins, instead of two bedrooms there is only one with a double bed. The second bedroom is absent to make room for a larger living area which does have a full size futon should you need the extra bed. All of the cabins have a living area and kitchenette which includes a small fridgerator, microwave, toaster, hot plate, plates and cookware, coffee pot, and sink. These cabins are definitely reccomended for people looking for a longer stay.
