About Us
The Pine Crest Motel & Cabins has been here in Barton Vermont for several decades and is now under new ownership and management. Purchased in late fall of 2007, we hope to improve on the already outstanding reputation the Pine Crest enjoyed under its previous owner.

The caretakers are a couple by the name of Jay and Taryn Ouellette. They live in a house on the property with their two young sons, and are always happy to take care of any special needs our guest may require. Both Jay and Taryn where born and raised here in New England, and met while they attended college in Salem, Massachusetts. Taryn is a dedicated mother and Jay enjoys strumming his guitar, but their main source of joy and inspiration is taking in the beautiful Northeast Kingdom of Vermont with their two boys.
The Pine Crest offers a seven room motel and ten cabins, all of which are nonsmoking and most of which are dog friendly. We offer cable TV and complimentary coffee in each of our rooms and cabins. We take pride in the cleanliness of our facility and the fact that we use environmentally safe cleaners whenever possible. We hold the satisfaction of our guests as our foremost priority.
