About Us
My name is Jay Ouellette, I am the caretaker here at the Pine Crest and I live on the property with my wife and two sons. I have been here since it changed owners, and I take pride in the rooms and cabins I have to offer the endless stream of friends we have visiting the beautiful Northeast Kingdom.

Before coming north to take on the responsibility of bringing the Pine Crest to it’s full potential I was in the foodservice industry both as a cook and in management. Prior to that, and before we had children, my wife and I spent a few years in South Carolina after college. We have found our home now here at the Pine Crest and in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. The Pine Crest Motel and Cabins has been here in Barton for decades, and I am now proud to say that we have been adding to it’s history since 2007.
